Laura Bianchi to Speak at the Arizona Association for Economic Development Fall Forum

The Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED), the state's unified voice advocating for responsible economic development, has invited Laura to share her expertise in Arizona's medical marijuana market at its annual Fall Forum (October 17-19, 2018). Recognized by the International Economic Development Council, this theme for the 2018 Fall Forum is "Strengthening Your Economic Toolkit."

Laura will be joined by Rose Law Group attorneys Thomas Galvin and Logan Elias for their presentation, titled "Understanding and Navigating Arizona's Medical Marijuana Industry." The talk will set aside the strong feelings that the conversation around cannabis legalization often inspires to educate attendees about the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act, the state's medical marijuana industry, and its impact on local communities. Topics will include AMMA licensing and operating requirements, current zoning, land use, and entitlements related to medical marijuana, contractual terms relevant to medical marijuana operations, best business practices, and the economic benefits that the industry offers to local communities.

The session will take place on Thursday, October 18, from 10:45 - 11:45 a.m. at the Little America Hotel in Flagstaff, AZ. For event information, visit www.aaed.com/event/ff18.
